Shooting Stars is a small English Preschool in Unterägeri, Zug, where children build confidence, independence and social skills through play. Our programme is designed for families planning for their children to attend local Swiss schools while maintaining English as a key part of their education. Our afternoon phonics, reading and writing classes help children continue developing their English skills in line with the UK curriculum.
Since 2014 we have focused on providing a warm and friendly environment, where children of all ages can learn in English. 2 - 5 years
A safe, stimulating and nurturing English Preschool in which play-based, child-led learning helps the children to build confidence, creativity and social skills every day.
Stay & Play sessions on Wednesday mornings offer a chance for parents and toddlers to socialise and play.
Phonics, UK Clubs and English Language Classes
5 - 12 years
UK Clubs - Structured phonics, reading and writing lessons aligned with the UK Curriculum for children with a good level of spoken English.
Phonics - 1 hour phonics classes organised by age and ability.
English Club - fun, interactive English classes for non-native speakers to learn English through games, crafts and activities.
English Workshop - learn to read, write and speak in English in our 1 hour classes.
