Children at Shooting Stars are supported to explore and develop as naturally inquisitive learners.
Since 2014 we have focused on providing a warm and friendly environment in Unterägeri,,where children of all ages can learn in English, through specially designed sessions and classes based on the UK curriculum. Central to our values is to nurture both the emotional and intellectual growth of our children.

Classes
Learning Through Play
Preschool
From 58 CHF
Our preschool is for native and non-native English speakers aged 2 - 5 years. Kindergarten aged children can also join us on Wednesday mornings and participate in our phonics and preschool session. We also offer Art club, Playball and Yoga as extra activities for your preschooler.

Afternoon Classes
From 50 CHF
We offer a wide range of afternoon classes for Kindergarten and Primary school children. Our popular UK classes follow the UK Curriculum and we have small group phonics classes and writing workshops. For non-native speakers our English clubs are a fun way for them to be immersed in the English language and develop their language skills.
On Mondays we have a fun Stay and Play session for toddlers and parents.
Other activities
From 50 CHF
Throughout the year we run a wide variety of Saturday workshops for children of all ages. From making Christmas cards to creative story writing there is something for everyone.
Techlabs run after school classes at Shooting Stars for children aged 6 years and up.
What We Do Best
We believe that children thrive in an environment which values their own uniqueness, while providing support and opportunities to grow emotionally, socially and creatively. By building on each child’s strengths, interests and curiosities, we guide each child to explore the world around them as well as develop new abilities and form close relationships.
UK Qualified Teachers
Qualified early years and primary school teachers with extensive experience teaching in schools in the UK, Switzerland and Hong Kong.

Our dedicated staff is committed to providing a supportive and safe environment where your child can explore and thrive. It is important to us that the children are happy at Shooting Stars and that the playroom is filled with positive energy. This includes fantastic relationships with parents.
English Preschool
All of our teachers are native English speakers. We continually extend the children's learning through language rich interactions. Daily story time is a highlight for both children and teachers.
Child-centered Learning
We look at the child’s interests and experiences and listen to their ideas. This helps us to meet the needs of each individual child. We provide activities that the children can take ownership of and explore independently.
