​Shooting Stars Preschool in Unterägeri, Zug provides a warm, friendly and sociable learning environment children aged 2 - 5 years, regardless of their level of English.  In our safe, stimulating and nurturing English Preschool, play-based, child-led learning helps the children to build confidence, creativity and social skills every day.  We believe in placing each child at the heart of their education and it is important to us to understand every child as an individual.

• Child-centred learning: We provide activities with high-quality resources that children can explore independently.

• Seamless progression: Our play-based, emergent curriculum takes the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) from the UK, but extends and develops this according to the children's individual needs and interests.

• Phase 1 Phonics: It is never too early to start building strong phonics foundations.  We start in Preschool where the children learn listening skills, rhythm and rhyme, alliteration and oral blending and segmenting. 

• Numeracy: Fun games and activities to introduce numbers, patterns and problem solving

• Dedicated Playroom, Classroom and Garden: In addition to our spacious, bright playroom, we have a large, secure garden for children to play in and explore the outdoors.  ​

At Shooting Stars Preschool, Children develop skills and concepts that will prepare them for local Swiss or international Kindergarten and primary school.
