Shooting Stars offers an English speaking pre-school in the mornings for native and non-native children aged 2 - 5 years. Our warm, friendly and sociable learning environment is the perfect place for children to play, make friends and become more independent.
As firm believers in child-centred learning, we provide activities using high quality resources that the children can take ownership of and explore independently. With the benefit of many years of experience, our qualified teachers and teaching assistants support and help the children, when necessary, and extend their learning through language rich interactions.
Our play-based, emergent curriculum takes the Early Years Foundation Stage used in the U.K. as its foundation, but extends and develops this according to the children`s individual needs and interests.
In addition to our bright, child-friendly playroom, we have an outdoor area to play in, as well as beautiful countryside to explore on our doorstep.
We see children as capable, competent, curious and creative.
We see children as natural researchers.
We see children as active, self-motivated learners seeking to understand the world in which they live and learn.
